Highlights from last year’s Walk to the Hill
At the 16th Annual Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid in 2015, more than 500 attorneys heard from various speakers, including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court and the presidents of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, about the critical role that civil legal aid plays in ensuring equal access to justice. They then visited their state Senators and Representatives to encourage them to provide $25 million in funding for civil legal aid in the fiscal year 2016 Massachusetts state budget.
