General Counsel Letter
General counsel from dozens of the leading corporations and institutions doing business in Massachusetts delivered a letter to Governor Baker and members of the Legislature asking them to support civil legal aid with an increase in the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation line item.
Law School Deans Letter
Massachusetts law school deans delivered letters to Governor Baker and members of the Legislature, explaining that an increase in civil legal aid funding is necessary to improve access to justice in the Commonwealth.

The members of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation urged Governor Baker to include $29 million for civil legal aid in the FY21 budget through the MLAC line item.
